Book Review The Things I Know About Love by Kate Le Vann

Livia Stowe has never been lucky in love. While her firends were going to parties and dances and on dates, Livia was being shuffled in and out of hospitals, which made her dateing life a little difficult. But this summer is going to be different. Cancer-free for over a year Livia's boarding a plane to visit her brother as he studies abroad at Princeton University. She's determined to make the most of her trip, recording every moment of it on her private blog. Maybe she'll even have a fling with a cute collage boy! America is bright, exciting and filled with romantic possibilities. And then she meets Adam, and her plans fpr summer fun become so much more. Entranced by the magical New York City that he shows her, Livia is smitten, but is she really ready to risk her heart again? Things I know About Love is funny, unforgettable, and a bit heartbreaking just like first love can be.

That's what the front flap of the books says and it sure got that last part right. Things I Know About Love is amazing, its one of those books that after you read it you start thinking about things, big things and you start pondering life. Its one of those books that could change you. It started hilarious and ended heartbreakingly sad, but it was like taking a journey. I reccomend everyone read this book. You will find yourself loving the character of Livia, and when your finished you will find yourself relizing just how fleeting life is. I give this book 5 out of 5 stars.
